The West Liberty-Salem junior varsity boys cross country team finished 2nd out of 24 teams in the White Race at Centerville SNL on Saturday.

Top placers for the Tigers included Quentin Rudolph 6th 18:56.3, Taryn Bradley 9th 19:04.5, Garrett Wallen 11th 19:16.3, Zeke Longshore 17th 19:24.8, Adly Knox 20th 19:40.4 and Zac Carter 36th 20:14.9.

“These guys embraced the horrendous conditions and had a blast on a muddy sloppy course,” said WL-S Coach Mike Louden. “In my 19 years of coaching these were the worst course conditions I’ve seen.”
