PET CAT OF THE WEEK

Aurora was a wonderful momma but she’s free to be a youngster again. She is a sweet, loving cat.

PAWS Animal Shelter

Aurora was found as a stray in Mechanicsburg with her five young kittens. She was brought to PAWS Animal Shelter, and she and her babies went into foster care. Aurora is a rather petite cat, so it was hard on her feeding so many kittens. She lost weight and was looking rather scrawny by the time her kittens were weaned. After a few weeks of spa treatment, she’s back to an ideal weight and is looking positively gorgeous. She’s back at the shelter now and is in the Kool Katz room, one of our adult cat rooms. She was a wonderful momma, but we think she’s enjoying being a youngster herself, playing with her new friends and the fishing pole toys, and relaxing by watching the birds outside her windows! She’s a very sweet, loving cat who would be a wonderful addition to any family.
