Grady Lantz tossed a pair of touchdown passes as unbeaten Urbana defeated visiting Bethel, 34-7, in non-league football Friday night.
An 85-yard touchdown pass from Lantz to Colton Teepe midway through the first quarter gave UHS a 7-0 lead.
Moments later, an interception by Lantz gave Urbana the ball at the Bethel 18.
UHS led, 7-0, at the end of the first quarter.
Early in the second quarter, Lantz scored on a two-yard run to give the Hillclimbers a 14-0 lead.
Late in the second quarter, Lantz tossed a 27-yard TD pass to D’Marcus Bean to make it 21-0.
Urbana led, 21-0, at the end of the third period.
Early in the fourth quarter, Urbana’s Austin Hill scored on a nine-yard run to make it 28-0.
Two minutes later, Preston Wisma’s 35-yard interception return for a touchdown gave UHS a 34-0 lead.
Bethel scored on a 32-yard TD pass with three minutes remaining in the game.
Lantz completed 6 of 20 pass attempts for 150 yards and Teepe had 3 receptions for 106 yards.
Urbana (3-0) hosts Graham (0-3) this Friday night.

BROOKVILLE – Graham dropped to 0-3 overall after a 33-0 loss to Brookville in non-league football Friday night.
Brookville’s Walt Adams scored on a 26-yard run midway through the first quarter to give the home team a 7-0 lead.
Late in the first quarter, Brookville’s DJ Moore scored on a three-yard run to make it 14-0.
After an interception, Brookville’s Bayne Boston later scored on a one-yard run late in the second quarter to make it 21-0 at the half.
Midway through the third quarter, Brookville took a 27-0 lead on Jayden Resor’s 59-yard run.
Moore scored on a 36-yard run midway through the fourth quarter to make it 33-0.
Graham plays at unbeaten Urbana this Friday night.
