BROOKVILLE – Bailey Poppe had 20 kills as WL-S defeated Preble Shawnee, 25-20, 25-15, 25-19, in the Division III volleyball sectional on Saturday.
For WL-S, Olivia Wilcox had 14 digs, 4 assists and 2 aces, Londyn Loveless had 17 assists, 10 digs and 3 aces, Briley Sullivan had 8 kills and 4 digs and Ava Poppe added 8 kills, 8 digs and 1 ace.
The top-seeded Tigers (20-4) advanced to play eighth-seeded Kettering Alter on Monday.
Indians lose
PLAIN CITY – Shekinah Christian beat Mechanicsburg, 25-19, 25-12, 25-19, in the Central District Division IV volleyball sectional on Saturday.
The Indians finish the season at 7-17 overall.
