SPRINGFIELD – Urbana defeated previously-unbeaten Kenton Ridge, 27-0, in CBC/KTD football Friday night.

Urbana scored a touchdown early in the first quarter, then added a TD pass late in the opening quarter to take a 14-0 lead.

UHS added a rushing touchdown late in the second quarter to make it 21-0 at the half.

Late in the third quarter, Urbana’s Austin Hill scored on a two-yard run as the Hillclimbers took a 27-0 lead.

Urbana (6-1, 1-1) hosts Bellefontaine next Friday night.

Graham 27, Shawnee 7

ST. PARIS – Graham earned its first win of the season in downing Shawnee, 27-7, in CBC/MRD football Friday night.

Graham started fast and owned a 10-0 lead early in the second quarter.

By halftime, the Falcons had built up a 20-0 lead on the Braves (1-6, 0-2).

Graham (1-6, 1-1) plays at Northwestern next Friday night.
