Tigers hold off Trojans in volleyball

Visiting WL-S rallied to beat Southeastern, 15-25, 25-22, 21-25, 25-21, 15-4, in OHC volleyball on Tuesday.

For the Tigers, Londyn Loveless had 19 assists, 11 digs and was 13/14 serving with one ace, Kiersten Stoll had 23 digs, 3 kills, 9/9 serving with one ace, Naomi Cole had 16 kills, 5 kills and was 14/15 serving with 4 aces and Ellah Heminger had 15 digs, 5 kills and was 16/16 serving.

The WL-S jayvee A team lost, 15-25, 25-21, 26-24. For the Tigers, Belle Sarver had 1 assist, 8 kills, 18 digs, 3 aces and was 9/13 on serves received and Emma Liggett had 1 assist, 11 digs, 7 kills, 1 ace and was 14/17 serving.

Urbana

On Wednesday, Bellefontaine downed Urbana, 25-12, 25-15, 25-13, in CBC volleyball.

Mechanicsburg

Greenon held off Mechanicsburg, 25-20, 14-25, 26-24, 23-25, 15-10, in OHC volleyball on Tuesday.

Triad

Cedarville upended Triad, 25-12, 25-18, 25-18,, in OHC volleyball on Tuesday.

For the Cardinals, Jenna Jones and Madi Bruce each had 4 kills.

JH volleyball

The WL-S 7th grade volleyball team beat Triad, 25-12, 25-6. For the Tigers, Avery Randall had 5 aces, Paysley Wesson was 7/8 serving and Kenzie Underwood added 5 assists.

The WL-S 8th graders lost, 25-21, 22-25, 25-15. For the Tigers, Kenna Wright had 7 assists and 5 kills and Sydney Conley added 8 assists.

Triad did not report statistics.

The WL-S 8th graders beat Mechanicsburg, 25-8-25-13. For the Tigers, Jules Loveless had 11 assists, Cortnee Muterspaw had 6 aces and Wright had 6 aces and 6 digs.
