Jean Rutan, 98 of Mechanicsburg, was honored with a birthday party by her family on Aug. 10, 2024 at the Mechanicsburg United Methodist Church.
There were 77 family and friends who attended, with five generations of family being represented.
Refreshments were enjoyed, along with lots of fellowship and reminiscence. A grandson, Chad Rutan, traveled the farthest, from Dallas, Oregon, to attend.
Jean would like to express her gratitude to all family and friends who made her 98th birthday so very special.
