WL-S defeats Catholic Central in volleyball

WEST LIBERTY – WL-S rallied to beat Springfield Catholic Central, 23-25, 25-10, 25-14, 25-13, in OHC volleyball Tuesday night.

For the Tigers (5-3), Londyn Loveless was 18/18 serving with 3 aces, 19 assists, 4 kills and 15 digs, Naomi Cole had 20 kills, 2 digs and was 12/12 serving with 2 aces and Asher Daniels had 7 kills, 13 digs and was 9/11 serving with 1 ace.

West Liberty- Salem’s junior varsity A team won, 25-9, 25-14. For the Tigers, Belle Sarver had 1 dig, 4 kills, 1 ace and was 6/7 on serves received and Emma Liggett had 2 digs, 3 kills and 9 aces.

Urbana

Jonathan Alder defeated Urbana, 25-16, 25-9, 25-18, in CBC volleyball on Tuesday.

Mechanicsburg

Cedarville upended Mechanicsburg, 26-24, 25-17, 25-18,, in OHC volleyball on Tuesday.

Triad

Greenon rallied to beat Triad, 19-25, 25-17, 25-20, 25-16, in OHC volleyball on Tuesday.

JH volleyball

The West Liberty-Salem 7th grade volleyball team lost to Southeastern, 25-19, 10-25, 25-21.

The WL-S 8th graders won, 25-19, 25-10.

Girls tennis

London beat Urbana, 5-0, in CBC girls tennis on Monday.
