Urbana knocks off Fort Recovery, 43-6

Grady Lantz passed for 256 yards and three touchdowns as Urbana defeated visiting Fort Recovery, 43-6, in non-league football Friday night.

Austin Hill scored on a five-yard run in the first quarter to give UHS a 7-0 lead.

In the second quarter, Lantz connected with Bizz Cain on a 47-yard touchdown pass, Cain returned an interception 63 yards for a TD and D’Marcus Bean scored on a 19-yard punt return.

The Hillclimbers led, 29-0, at the half.

In the third quarter, Lantz hooked up with Cain on touchdown passes of 68 and 58 yards to round out the scoring.

Lantz completed 9 of 11 pass attempts and had one interception.

Cain had four receptions for 206 yards.

Urbana (2-0) hosts Bethel in non-league action this Friday night.
