WEST LIBERTY – Anticipation is at an all-time high as the 5th Annual Country Legends Festival is less than two weeks away.

Country Legends Festival is set to return on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024 at Lions Park in West Liberty.

Gates will open at 2 p.m.

Tracy Lawrence (10 p.m.), Diamond Rio (8 p.m.), Chris Cagle (6 p.m.) and Blackhawk (4 p.m.) will all take the main stage and perform full-length sets for the thousands of fans who have already purchased tickets.

The artists have combined for 18 #1 singles, fifty-four Top 10 singles, 15 Grammy nominations, 1 Grammy win, 28 ACM nominations, 4 ACM wins, 22 CMA nominations and 6 CMA wins.

The Dalton Union Hometown Saloon stage returns with all Ohio-based artists.

Kenny Chaffin (Marysville) and Leah Crose (Springfield) will kick off festivities with the Hometown Saloon Stage Pre-Party from 2:30-4 p.m. Also taking the saloon stage between the main stage artists are Andi Jo Taylor (Toledo), Rick George (Dayton), and Erin Stoll (Lodi).

Entertainment on the Dalton Union Hometown Saloon Stage is included with the price of admission into the festival.

“With this being our fifth year, we have really figured out how to bring Logan and Champaign counties a first-class show,”said Country Legends Festival Co-Founder Matt Hull. “Not only do we poll our past attendees to see who they want to watch perform on the main stage, but we do a detailed vetting of our Saloon Stage artists to bring people exactly what they want to see. It’s non-stop, top-end music and entertainment; you’re simply not going to find a better bang for your buck.”

West Liberty resident Holli Eaton will be performing this year’s National Anthem, followed by a special recognition to honor local military veterans. Also back this year, the festival’s annual charity guitar auction will take place. This year’s auction is to benefit 28-year-old Champaign County resident Caleb Bostick.

Caleb is a father of 5 young children who is battling cancer that has spread throughout his body. The auction has raised tens-of-thousands of dollars for local families in the past 2 years.

“It’s amazing to see the ‘community’ aspect of this in every aspect of the event,” said Hull. “From local business in the village of West Liberty benefiting economically, to our local veterans getting the recognition that they deserve for giving us the freedom to put on this show, to our local non-profits like the Lions Club raising thousands of dollars for their club, to financially helping those locally who are having some extreme difficulties. All of it. It’s truly a magical night of giving back to our community.”

Country Legends Festival 2024 will feature a wide variety of food and drink options for attendees. There will be multiple food trucks inside the venue with choices of BBQ, Americana, Mexican, Asian, pizza, and more. Country Legends Festival has also partnered with Bonbright Distributors, BentWater Brewing, and Dalton Union Winery & Brewery to offer a huge selection of domestic, regional, and local adult beverage options.

Hull said, “If you’ve never been to Country Legends Festival, I encourage you to make this the year. It’s truly a unique and impactful event. We would love to see more local support. People from all over the country come to tiny West Liberty, Ohio and rave about what is happening on Labor Day weekend in this town. We want all of our local residents to have this experience as well.”

Tickets can be purchased in advance through the Festival’s website. General admission tickets will be available at the gate the day of the show.

New this year, limited camping spots on site are also available through the Country Legends Festival website, www.CLFestival.com.
