Visiting the Champaign County Aviation Museum

The Flying Barnyard 4-H Club visited the Champaign County Aviation Museum. When we all got there the tour guide talked about some of the rules and other important things. We started walking through the museum. It was so big on the inside. They had 5 or more airplanes that were either for a display or they were being worked on. There were a lot of interesting facts on these big boards. Some of the women and girls for their wedding or their prom dresses made them out of a parachute. The engines of an airplane are really big. One of the rooms that we went in was all about the history of the women who flew the airplanes. Some of the people in our club got to go in the airplane and see all of the buttons and levers. There is an airplane that’s engine broke down and it can not come home. If you and your family are up to learning something new then the Champaign County Aviation Museum is a place where you learn a lot of things.
