CLEVELAND (AP) — Police say a woman is dead and a man suffered serious injuries after a motorcycle they were riding crashed into a car in northeast Ohio.
Police say a 24-year-old motorcyclist had been driving faster than the 35 mph speed limit on state Route 237 in Cleveland Saturday night when he crashed into a car that was attempting to turn left.
Both the man and his 32-year-old passenger were thrown from the motorcycle.
Authorities say both were taken to a hospital where the woman was declared dead. Authorities haven’t released the identities of either motorcycle rider.
The 17-year-old driver of the car was not hurt.
The wreck remains under investigation. Police say they plan to present the facts of the case to prosecutors.
