Driver arrested after 1 killed, 1 injured on I-480


CLEVELAND (AP) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol has arrested a driver in connection with a highway crash along Interstate 480 that left one woman dead and another woman injured.

Cleveland.com (http://bit.ly/2dkLocG ) reports that 27-year-old Tanisha Matthews, of Maple Heights, died just before 9:30 p.m. on Saturday after a pickup truck struck her and a 23-year-old companion while they were changing a tire.

The second woman was in fair condition Sunday at a local hospital.

The driver was arrested near the Ridge Road exit. The crash closed two westbound lanes of the highway Saturday.
