COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Authorities have identified a bicyclist who died on a city street in Ohio after he was hit by a motorist who police say fled the scene.
The Columbus Dispatch (http://bit.ly/2bn61C5) reports that police say the man killed Wednesday was 69-year-old William Greulich, of the Columbus suburb of Whitehall. They say he was hit as he was hauling a bag of groceries home from a food pantry at a Columbus church. He was pronounced dead minutes after paramedics arrived.
Police also say they found a woman accused of driving the SUV that hit Greulich and have questioned her. But no charges have been filed.
Police say the investigation is continuing.
