HAMILTON, Ohio (AP) — Deputies in southwestern Ohio say they’re looking for a jail inmate who ran away from a hospital where he was taken for a medical appointment.
Butler County sheriff’s Capt. John Sons says the inmate, 30-year-old Bradley Brooks Jr., fled on foot after saying he needed to use the restroom while at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton on Tuesday afternoon.
Brooks was being held on charges including receiving stolen property, and having weapons while under disability.
The incident is being investigated and Brooks is being sought. He is from Hamilton and is believed to be in the area.
