WAUSEON, Ohio (AP) — The Ohio Turnpike is open again in both directions after a fiery crash west of Toledo killed a truck driver Thursday night.
The toll road’s eastbound lanes opened to traffic early Saturday.
Crews had to repair sections of the roadway after a tanker truck carrying liquid hydrogen burned for nearly 19 hours in Fulton County, about 30 miles east of the Indiana state line.
Authorities reopened the turnpike’s westbound lanes Friday night.
The State Highway Patrol says the driver of a truck who hit the back of the tanker was killed in the crash.
