COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A central Ohio college that helps working adults earn degrees has its commencement ceremonies Sunday.
Franklin University in Columbus says more than 650 degree candidates are taking part at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
The keynote speaker will be Thomas C. Barbee, a Vietnam veteran and longtime Wendy’s restaurant franchisee. Graduating student speaker will be Robert Garrett, a Chillicothe native who lives in Circleville. He is receiving his master of healthcare administration degree.
Franklin was founded in 1902 and has nearly 10,000 students a year.
