COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Police have identified a teenager who was killed in a double shooting in Ohio’s capital city.
Sgt. Christ Holzhauser says 14-year-old Armani Anderson was playing dice with 21-year-old Devon Wyrick around 5:15 p.m. Monday in Columbus when a car drove by firing several bullets.
Police say Anderson died at the hospital less than an hour later. Holzhauser says the boy had been shot in the torso.
Wyrick has been hospitalized and is listed in stable condition with a shot to the leg.
Holzhauser says about 50 people had been in the area during the shooting. Police say no one has come forward with information.
