DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — The director of the Ohio EPA says the agency is working to ensure that a southwest Ohio mobile home park plagued by water system breakdowns has safe drinking water.
The Dayton Daily News reports (http://bit.ly/1WbpXvR ) the agency is assessing and repairing the Pineview Estates system. A contractor was expected to be at the Miami Township site Friday to analyze the problem.
The agency says water service has been restored, but residents remain on a boil advisory.
Court records say Pineview’s water system has been malfunctioning since April. The OEPA has been overseeing repairs after a judge granted a temporary restraining order that gave the agency access and barred interference from the mobile home park’s owner.
Messages seeking comment were left by The Associated Press on Friday for the park’s owner.
