TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — A polar bear cub born at the Toledo Zoo in December is ready to meet her fans.
The zoo says the cub named Hope is making her public debut Friday.
She was born Dec. 3 to a 16-year-old bear named Crystal.
Hope was the seventh polar bear cub born at the zoo since 2006. Crystal gave birth to twins in November 2012.
Polar bear cubs in the wild typically stay secluded with their mothers until they reach 20 to 30 pounds.
