CINCINNATI (AP) — Organizers expect another record field for the annual Flying Pig Marathon and related races this weekend in Cincinnati.
Highlighting the 18th annual marathon Sunday will be the return of four-time winner Sergio Reyes (RAY’-uhs). The Palmdale, California, man won the last time he ran it in 2014.
Organizers say they expect to top last year’s record participation of 37,770 overall and will have participants from all 50 states and 17 other countries.
There are a half marathon, 10K and 5K races and a range of other competitions including relays and kids races. A mile race Friday night starts the running.
