Image of Asia: Alicia Vikander takes a fan selfie in Seoul

In this photo by Ahn Young-joon, actress Alicia Vikander takes a selfie with fans while promoting her latest film, “Jason Bourne,” in Seoul, South Korea. She called it a “pinch me” moment to go on set for the first time and see the editing and camera work led by director Paul Greengrass. “It’s always a gift for an actor when you have a director who seems so calm and so clear and confident in the vision, what he wants,” she said at a news conference. Matt Damon said reuniting with Greengrass was the main reason he decided to return to the spy franchise, though he admitted the action-heavy role has its drawbacks. “It’s definitely more difficult to play Jason Bourne when you’re 45 years old than when you’re 29 years old because you still have to run as hard,” Damon said with a smile. The film opens in South Korea, the United States and other countries in late July.
