Triad’s Ober scores 1,000th career point in loss

NORTH LEWISBURG – Triad’s Jenna Ober scored her 1,000th career point in the Cardinals’ 57-37 loss to Greeneview on Monday in OHC girls basketball.

Ober had a team-high 19 points and Alea Ferguson added 12 for Triad.

Greeneview won the jayvee game, 50-17.

Graham girls fall

BELLEFONTAINE – Graham lost to Bellefontaine, 52-30, in CBC non-divisional girls basketball on Monday.

Graham drops to 6-16 overall while Bellefontaine improves to 3-19.

Roberts signs with Wilmington

Mallory Roberts, a senior at Graham High School, has signed a letter of intent to attend Wilmington College and play softball.

Roberts is a four-year varsity player on the GHS softball team, a member of the Miami County Blaze (coached by Michaela Nenninger) and hitting/pitching student of Jodi Hall-Curnutte. She is the daughter of Sam and Tammy Roberts.

M’burg girls bowling wins

The Mechanicsburg girls bowling team beat Jonathan Alder 2,284-2,175.

For the Indians, Lauren Mayberry had a 186-212/398 series, Katie Bush rolled a 163-156/319 and Jenna Alspaugh had a 142-149/291. Ally Hosier had a 199 game, Skyler Herron rolled a 137 and Miranda Keene added a 125.

The jayvee Indians also won, 1,818-1,563.
