Indian Lake knocked off Graham, 52-43, in CBC/MRD girls basketball on Thursday.

For the Falcons, Kayla Tullis had 12 points, Katey Nash had 11 and Bethany Horner added 8.

UHS sweeps in bowling

The Urbana boys bowling team beat Bellefontaine, 3,019-2,299, in CBC/KTD action.

For UHS (15-1), Taylor Armstrong had a 237-226, Andru Troyer a 245-182, Luc Russell a 226-200, Kyle Beavers a 199-208 and Brayden Fain a 205

Urbana’s girls won, 2,449-2,380.

For UHS, Kayla Evans had a 200-215, Lily Cooksey a 193-181, Sarrah Baldwin a 173-181, Olivia Krieger a 147-195 and Lillian Daniels a 121.

M’burg girls win

The Mechanicsburg girls bowling team defeated London, 2,373-2,007, in non-league action.

For the Indians, Ally Hosier had a 221-224 for a 445, Miranda Keene a 154-180 for a 334, Skyler Herron a 177-138 for a 315, Madison Boggs a 170-156,for a 326 and Amanda Coulter a 155-110 for a 265.

WL-S boys fall

Madison Plains beat WL-S, 2,104-2,028, in OHC boys bowling.

For the Tigers, Logan Tompkins had a 144, Isaac Riblet a 137, Hunter Smith a 152, Treven Marchal a 196 and Mike Price a 193.

Game cancelled

Urbana freshman basketball vs. Versailles on Feb. 11 has been cancelled due to Versailles not having enough players. The jayvee and varsity games will be held that evening.

JH basketball

The WL-S 7th grade boys basketball team improved to 7-2 in the OHC and 7-4 overall with a 34-15 win over Mechanicsburg. Isaac Brown led the Tigers with 12 points while Morgan paced the Indians with 8.

The WL-S 7th grade girls defeated Mechanicsburg, 37-30, to improve to 12-1. Emily Hollar led the way with 11 points, 5 assists and 3 steals and Mandilyn Weaver contributed 8 points and 6 rebounds for the Tigers.

The WL-S 8th grade girls are 13-1 after a win over Mechanicsburg, 29-26. Selena Weaver had 14 points and 7 rebounds for the Tigers.

Urbana beat Northwestern, 20-11, in 7th grade girls basketball. Claire Shelpman scored 12 points for UJHS.

Urbana won the 8th grade girls game, 29-11. For UJHS, Sam Rooney scored 9 points in 3 quarters and Shelby Stoops had 8 points in 2 quarters.
