NORTH LEWISBURG – Madison Plains held off Triad, 52-49, Friday night in OHC boys basketball.
The score was tied, 14-14, at the end of the first quarter and the Cardinals took a 25-20 lead at the half.
Triad owned a 37-33 lead after three periods before Madison Plains (8-4, 5-1) rallied for the victory.
For Triad (4-8, 2-6), Thomas O’Neal had 12 points and Jevin Edley and Hadley LeVan each had 10.
Triad won the jayvee game, 45-36. Dillon Nott had 9 points for the Cardinals.
Triad won the 9th grade game, 30-29. Tate Campbell had 11 points for the Cardinals.
Graham falls to NW
Northwestern defeated Graham, 74-56, in CBC/MRD boys basketball on Friday.
Andrew Ford had 19 points to pace the Falcons (5-10, 3-4).
The Warriors are now 11-3, 7-0.
