Triad’s Dixon signs with Wilmington College

Triad High School senior Ali Dixon has signed a letter of intent to play softball next year for Wilmington College.

Springfield Catholic Central defeated WL-S, 1,919-1,893, in OHC girls bowling.

For the Tigers, Erica McCall had a 177, 180 357 series; Sarah Daulton a 148, 178 326 series; Rachel Larson a 140 game; Lauren Hostetler a 133 game; Ashlyn Parks a 120 game; Jillian Kirkham a 119 game; Hailee Clifford a 107 game and Rylee LeVan a 96 game.

The Triad 8th grade girls beat Fairbanks, 38-20. For Triad (3-1), Cati LeVan had 10 points, Frani LeVan had 9, Baylie Plank had 9, Emma Dorn had 9 rebounds and Joni Russell added 7 rebounds.

Urbana’s 7th grade boys lost to Northridge, 39-13.

Urbana’s 8th grade boys lost, 47-15.

In 9th grade girls basketball, WL-S beat Bethel, 35-14.

Camrin Rice had 14 points for the Tigers.

The Urbana 8th grade girls lost to Northridge, 39-23. Sam Rooney scored 9 points for UJHS.

Urbana’s 7th grade girls won, 41-4. Macie Campbell had 12 points and Claire Shelpman added a double double, having 10 points and 14 rebounds for UJHS.
