The Champaign County track and field championships were held Tuesday at Urbana High School.

On the boys’ side, Mechanicsburg won the meet with 118 points, edging out second-place Urbana (100). Graham was third, West Liberty-Salem was fourth and Triad was fifth.

On the girls’ side, West Liberty-Salem won with 104 points over second-place Graham (74). Mechanicsburg was third, Triad was fourth and Urbana was fifth.

Winning events for the boys were George Bugg (GHS, 110H), Nick Johnson (UHS, 100), Joey Adams (WL-S, 1,600, 3,200), Jared Butcher (MHS, 400), Mitch Moyer (UHS, 300H), Gavin Erwin (MHS, 800), Bryce Waring (MHS, 200, long jump), David Harvey (MHS, high jump), Josh McManaway (THS, discus), Andrew Hecker (UHS, shot put), Phil Cook (MHS, pole vault), the UHS 4×800 team, the GHS 4×100 team, the MHS 4×200 team and the MHS 4×400 team.

Earning second were Curtis Noble (GHS, 110H), Austin Brayton (GHS, 100), Tristan Lynxwiler (UHS, 1,600), Ty Horsley (UHS, 400), George Bugg (GHS, 300H), Alec Freeman (UHS, 800), Zach Caudill (GHS, 200), Nick Williams (WL-S, 3,200), Jared Butcher (MHS, high jump), David Harvey (MHS, long jump), Trent Fuller (MHS, discus), Tristin Williams (UHS, shot put), Joey Mascadri (MHS, pole vault), the WL-S 4×800 team, the UHS 4×100 team, the UHS 4×200 team and the GHS 4×400 team.
