Triad sweeps Rams in softball, baseball

JAMESTOWN – Triad defeated Greeneview, 8-2, in OHC softball on Friday.

For the Cardinals (6-1, 3-1), Jenna Ober earned the win and went 2 for 3, Ali Dixon was 2 for 3 with a triple and Abby Ehrenborg had a triple.

Triad plays at Duke Park in Troy on Saturday at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. against Northwestern, River Valley and Milton-Union.

WL-S beats M’burg

WL-S topped Mechanicsburg, 13-0, in 11 innings of OHC softball on Friday.

“The wheels just came loose. We played great ball for 10 innings,” MHS Coach Abbey DeLong said.

Kelsey Day earned the win and Elysha Stapleton took the loss.

Olivia Ames was 2 for 5, Emily Schultz was 3 for 6 with a triple and Kiana Reames had a triple and a double for the Tigers.

Allie Raber had a double for the Indians.

MHS (5-2) hosts Cedarville on Monday.

The WL-S jayvee team beat Indian Lake, 4-2. Laura Neer recorded the win and Courtney Neer added 2 RBI.

Triad baseball wins

JAMESTOWN – Triad beat Greeneview, 12-4, in OHC baseball on Friday.

For the Cardinals (7-1, 2-0), Dalton Holycross earned the win, Briley Harlan was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI, Trevor Instine was 2 for 4 with 3 RBI, Shane Ford was 3 for 4 and Timmy Marsalis was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI.

WL-S beats M’burg

WL-S defeated Mechanicsburg, 15-5, in OHC baseball on Friday.

Dominic Smith earned the win and Brandon Upton, Dusty Moell and Chase Humphrey each had doubles for the Tigers (4-5, 3-3).

WL-S downed Mechanicsburg, 16-6, in jayvee baseball.

Cayden Whitman earned the win, Ian Clark was 4 for 4 with 3 runs scored Tanner Workman, Jacob Vanhorn, Tyler Gardner were each 3 for 4.

Graham softball wins

ST. PARIS – Graham defeated Urbana, 4-0, in CBC softball on Friday.

Madison Bryant was 2-for-4 with a double and threw the shutout for Graham. Adrianna Hicks was 1-for-3, Alyssa Theodor was 1-for-3 with a double, Marley Brandyberry was 1-for-3 with an RBI and Morgan Rush was 1-for-3.

Graham (9-0, 7-0 CBC) hosts West Liberty-Salem in a doubleheader today.
