BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Urbana University men’s golf team came up with a solid fifth-place finish at the Mountain East Conference Spring Invitational.

UU posted a team score of 663 (341-322) during the 36-hole event, hosted at the Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, West Virginia. UU bounced back during the second round of 18 by shaving off 19 strokes.

Charleston had three top-10 finishers and took home the team championship by six strokes with tourney-low 627. West Liberty’s Mathew Iceton claimed low-medalist accolades by firing a two-round total of 148 (75-73).
