0

Urbana Junior High School seventh grade World Studies students held a “Night at the Museum” March 16 to celebrate their project-based learning over the Renaissance in Europe.

Students worked on researching an individual from the Renaissance time period that they feel is the most influential. They each dressed in character as this person to show off their hard work. Each had a jar at their station, in order to hear them talk a donation needed to be made to activate their character.

Students raised over $800 at the event, which was used to purchase the 120 students who participated school spirit wear shirts. Three students received 2017-18 all season sports passes.
