Sarah Lay, owner of Kona Ice of Troy, serves up free shaved ice to Justin Lord, right, and Anthony Baglione, left, on Tuesday at the Champaign County Library. Lord and Baglione, who work for L.A. Catering out of Columbus, were in Urbana for a Meals on Wheels event at the library and couldn’t pass up a free treat. Lay said she was handing out free shaved ice to the public as part of Kona Ice’s National Chill Out Day, held every year on Tax Day as a way for the company to help Americans “chill out and relax” during one of the most stressful days of the year.
