LIMA – Members of the public are invited to attend a town hall meeting featuring U.S. Congressional Representative Jim Jordan (R-Urbana). The event will be held from 6-8 p.m. on April 24 in the South Hall of the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center in Lima.

The town hall is sponsored by Allen and Hardin for Election Action and Democracy (AHEAD), in partnership with other groups in Jordan’s district.

Jordan has represented Ohio’s 4th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2007 and is a founding member of the House Freedom Caucus.

This event is an opportunity for members of the general public to ask questions of Jordan and raise concerns. The town hall will feature pre‐selected questions from the community followed by a question and answer session with the audience. AHEAD is accepting questions for the first portion by email ([email protected]).

All people committed to respectful dialogue are welcome. Organizers ask that people not bring signs that might block other participants from seeing the stage. Attendees will receive “Agree/Disagree” signs which they can use to show their opinion of statements.
