PAWS Animal Shelter (dog)

Hey folks, my name is Josie. I’m a male Doberman/Terrier mix and I am sure handsome.

I am housebroken, I’m about 2 years old and I was brought here to Paws Animal Shelter as a stray.

I’m a good boy, but it does take me a little time to warm up to you humans. The staff here thinks maybe I’ve been mistreated in my life, so I may need to gain trust. I am a little choosy with my canine friends also. Please give me some time to adjust. The staff here at Paws have no idea what I’ve been through… and I can’t tell them.

Please stop out and meet me. I will be waiting for my new humans and my new home.

Barely Used Pets

Hi! My name is Lola and I am a little 1-year-old Maltese girl. I came here to Barely Used Pets as a stray. I didn’t know where I was running around out there, and it was really scary and cold! I am so glad they snapped me up and brought me here. I have found lots of little friends to play with and they tuck me in at night with my blanket and toy. I get lots of visitors and I love just about everybody. I am already spayed and have all of my shots so I am ready to go to a new forever home. I just need a family who will love me and whatever you do…please keep me safe and warm and my tummy full of food. I don’t ever, ever want to be out on the street again. I need a home where I know I will be loved. I promise to give you love back ten-fold if you will just give me a chance.

Please visit our website: www.barelyusedpets.com. Also, like us on Facebook at Barely Used Pets Rescue (put spaces between the words). Barely Used Pets is located at 844 Jackson Hill Road in Urbana, Ohio. You can give us a call at 937-869-8090. Our regular hours are: Open Sunday 1-4pm, Wednesday and Thursdays 11am-6pm, Fridays 11am-5pm and Saturday 11am-2pm. We are CLOSED on Monday and Tuesday. We can always use donations and they are all of those basic supplies that we use so quickly. We are in real need of lots and lots of paper towels! If you can bring us some we would surely appreciate it. Lola says…”Thanks so much for considering me and helping Barely Used Pets help all of us little ones find our forever homes! OK…so what are you waiting for? Let’s go home!”

Josie, a Doberman/Terrier mix, is about 2 years old and his background is a question mark. The PAWS Animal Shelter staff thinks it may not have been the best because he takes his time warming up to both humans and fellow canines. But he’s a good boy and just needs a someone willing to provide love and patience.

Little Lola was found running in the streets, cold and hungry, and taken to Barely Used Pets, where she loves everyone and appreciates warmth, food and cuddling. She’d also appreciate a person or family to provide the same in a new home.
