Local GOP headquarters to open Aug. 27

The Champaign County Republican Party will open its headquarters at 116 S. Main St. on Saturday, Aug. 27, from noon to 6 p.m. August hours will be 3-6 p.m. weekdays; noon-6 p.m. Saturdays and 1:30-6 p.m. Sundays. Anyone wishing to volunteer to staff the headquarters can contact Champaign County Republican Chair Audra Bean at 937-869-1613 or [email protected]. A ribbon-cutting to officially open the headquarters will be held at 5:15 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29. U.S. Rep Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) plans to attend.
