Champaign County Animal Welfare League (CCAWL) is happy to present for adoption Dee Dee, a beautiful brindle and white Boxer. Dee Dee is 3 years old and weighs in at around fifty pounds. She is a surrender and came to us with her one, remaining puppy who was recently adopted. Dee Dee is housebroken and good with children and other dogs as well as cats. She is a happy, social girl who is eagerly looking for her forever home. As with all Champaign County Animal Welfare League (CCAWL) pets, Dee Dee is completely vetted before adoption. Included in the $130 adoption donation is spaying/neutering, vaccinations including rabies, worming, heart-worm testing and treated with flea and heart-worm prevention. CCAWL adopted dogs are all micro-chipped and have their 2016 dog license and dental cleaning. If you are interested in visiting Dee Dee or any other of the adoptable pets at CCAWL, please call us at 937-834-5236. We are located at 3858 State Route 56, Mechanicsburg, OH, 43044. Dog and Cat adoption applications can be found online at www.champaigncoanimalwelfareleague.com. You may fax an adoption application to 937-834-5171. A complete listing of our available pets may be found at www.petfinder.com and www.adoptapet.com. The David Robert Wetzell Memorial Clinic has been up and operating for several weeks, offering low-cost spaying and neutering to the public. This Clinic is for Low Cost Sterilizations; we will be offering Low Cost Vaccination Clinics at minimum twice a year. Please call 937-834-5236 for further information and details. The Champaign County Animal Welfare League is a non-profit organization and always appreciates donations of paper towels, kitten chow, bleach, cat toys, 6 inch paper plates (not plastic or foam), Clorox wipes and the smaller Kroger/Wal-Mart plastic bags. Remember, this is the heightened season for strays. During the days leading up to and following the Fourth of July holiday, it is a good idea to keep your pets inside or on a leash. If you do find your pet missing during this time, call the Champaign County dog warden and our local rescues.
