City pool lifeguards profiled

Urbana City Pool is profiling its lifeguards this summer. Eli “Sunshine” deNijs (pictured) is the first one to be recognized. In his fourth summer at the pool he has already had six successful saves! Not only is he a great lifeguard, but he is the favorite swim lesson teacher of many. Eli is attending the University of Findlay and majoring in education. He is a junior and plans to teach high school English after graduation.
