Amanda Lykins, manager of The Styling Company on Scioto Street in Urbana, dries Sharon Taylor’s hair Saturday evening during a special charity event. Proceeds from the evening will help sponsor the Mandy’s Cancer Avengers team during the 2016 American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life on Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21 at the Champaign County Fairgrounds. Business was brisk during the hair charity event, which lasted from 6-11:30 p.m. and offered $10 haircuts, $25 color processes and $5 waxes. The stylists donated their time and all money for services went to Relay for Life. The event raised $200.
