Colin Toth, of Mechanicsburg, received the Henry Clay Morrison scholarship from Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky.

Jacob Watkins, a 2013 Triad HS graduate was recently inducted into the Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society. His sister, Hannah Watkins, a 2015 Triad HS graduate was inducted into Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society the week before. Both attend Otterbein University and are the children of Jerry and Darcy Watkins of North Lewisburg, Ohio 43060.

Thirteen students from Ohio Hi-Point Career Center’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter competed at the Ohio BPA Leadership Conference in Columbus. Individuals and teams from OHP placing in the top 10 included Chelsea Strunk (Graham) after competing in Digital Media Production; Ohio Hi-Point’s Broadcast News Team, including Kaitlyn Mathews (Graham) and Alexis Richardson (Urbana). Also competing at state was Ohio Hi-Point’s Video Production Team, including Dylan Jackson (Triad), Garrett Reed (Graham) and Cassandra Ferguson (Urbana).

Nine Allied Health and Nursing students from the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center advanced to the National Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Leadership Conference after competing at the Ohio HOSA competition at the University of Toledo on April 5 and 6. They included Lyndsey Eshelman, West Liberty-Salem High School), third in Personal Care; and Sadrian Garver, Graham High School, advancing for National recognition for the Ohio Hi-Point HOSA Chapter Reflection Scrapbook.
