Michael D. Cox and Lou Anna Melvin (Cox) celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on April 23. Both are former residents of Urbana and moved to Florida in 1982.
They are the parents of three children, Melissa, Cynthia and Christopher. They have four grandchildren and three-and-a-half great-grandchildren.
Mr. Cox is a retired firefighter/paramedic, and fire inspector for the state of Florida. Mrs. Cox is retired as a self -employed medical billing specialist.
